As well as our structured training courses, there are other opportunities to come and learn at the International Macrobiotic School.

Kitchen Assistants

We have Kitchen Assistants helping the head cook on all training modules. The assistant helps with preparing the three meals a day, learning how to cook a wide variety of different soups, main course dishes and desserts. Our Kitchen Assistants often say that they learn an enormous amount from assisting the experienced head cooks, as well as experiencing the atmosphere of the school and its students.

Volunteers

We also have opportunities for Volunteers to help with a variety of work at the school and in running public events. Volunteer work can give a great sense of belonging to a community and working towards a common cause.
