The International Macrobiotic School's Location

The school is based at Buckyette Farm in south Devon. Our Short Courses are held here at the school and the Professional Training Courses are held at a Residential centre called Eden Rise Retreat Centre, near Totnes www.edenrise.org The school lies 5 miles south of the A38, the main road between Exeter and Plymouth and 3 miles from the town of Totnes.

The school has very limited basic accommodation, however there are many local B&B's, hotels and also camping sites nearby. Please refer to the accommodation link.

Getting there by Train

Totnes Railway Station has a main line with direct services to Bristol, London, Birmingham and the North.

Getting there by Road

From Totnes take the A381 to Newton Abbot. After 2 miles take the turning left signposted to Littlehempston, just before the Pig & Whistle Inn. In Littlehempston you will go under a railway bridge and then over a stone bridge - turn right immediately after the two bridges, into a road with a telephone box signposted to Staverton.

After 3/4 of a mile you will pass two turnings on the right, and then come to a turning on the left through a gateway into Buckyette Farm. Go up the drive and turn left into the old stable yard (as pictured below right).
